On Monday, November 4 at 7 pm in MacEwan Hall, the speaker was Patrick Daniel, President & CEO of Enbridge. His topic is Kyoto: A Call To Engage Canadians. Four years ago Mr. Daniel, in partnership with the Energy Council of Canada, founded a new organization called Action by Canadians on Climate Change. As a board member, Mr. Daniel is concerned that the actions of individual Canadians directly account for some 28 percent of national greenhouse gas emissions. For Canada to reduce these emissions government and industry action alone will not be enough – individuals must be engaged in the solution. | |||||||||||
