This video hilites some of the issues involved with Learning Object repositories. ALOHA, the Alberta Learning Object Hub Application, is a framework designed to ease educational markup and publishing of media objects in a standards-based fashion. It consists of 3 entities, the ALOHA repository backend (aka JUD), the ALOHA metadata markup tool, and the CAREO web based portal. The java-based ALOHA metadata markup tool allows you to easily drag and drop media onto it, and with a single click, publish it to a repository, which in turn is accessible through the CAREO web portal. | |||||||||||
